Staying here was truly magical! The traditional Japanese-style breakfast was the highlight, and just a six-minute stroll took us to gorgeous Kiyomizu-dera. Let’s not forget the lounge, which served delightful espresso and sparkling wine. Those unique walking coats made morning walks feel extra special!

the only downside was the long walk from the street but the cypress bathtub was amazing after a long day (and the sake made it feel special) the breakfast was visually stunning and flavorful the staff were so attentive even bringing tea right when we arrived

saka hotel is a lovely oasis in a prime location. it's within walking distance to major sights and some charming side streets with shops. Check-in was smooth and relaxing. we enjoyed tea in the cozy lobby. the traditional japanese breakfast was beautifully presented, with plenty of fresh options to try.

the room was super spacious with a comfy vibe. enjoyed the air purifier, coffee machine, and tatami flooring. the bathroom had a private bath and free toiletries. breakfast was beautifully presented with fresh options. location is peaceful yet close to Kiyomizu-dera, which we saw early in the morning. staff was really friendly and helped us feel at home.
